C'est la première fois qu'un joueur jouant à Rouen devient Champion du monde la même année !
Alors que Lukas Cik participait au tournoi de Prague(4 au 10 juillet) avec les Rouennais, celui ci a écourté sa participation au tournoi international afin de rejoindre la sélection Nationale Tchèque pour le chammionnat du monde FIRS de Rocarrosso.
Ce tournoi lui servait d'ultime préparation avant de rejoindre sa sélection.

Les Tchèques battent les Italiens, en finale, sur le score de 3 buts à 2 !
En demi finale, ils avaient écartés les USA sur un score de 6 - 2.
Demain, lundi 17 juillet, la majeure partie de la composition de l'Equipe des Spiders pour la saison 2011-2012 sera communiquée.
